Cameka Crawford is a public relations and marketing strategist who works with teams to implement initiatives that increase brand awareness while strengthening employee and consumer engagement. After working for nearly 15 years in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, she knows what it means to connect organizations with their community with authenticity.

Cameka was the driving force behind the creation of the National Domestic Violence Hotline’s “Picture” public service announcement, which premiered on the NFL Network and NFL.com, as well as “A Day to Connect, Inspire and Heal”—Verizon’s domestic violence Summit hosted in partnership with Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw’s foundations. She has landed coverage in print and broadcast outlets around the country, including the Ebony magazine, USA TODAY, Cosmopolitan, and CNN. In 2011, PR Week honored her with its 40 Under 40 Ones to Watch award.

Cameka holds a BA in public relations from Texas Tech University and a Master of Administrative Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also received an executive certificate in leadership and management from the University of Notre Dame.
